Lillian Larson-Collins is a 2020 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Arizona holding a BFA in Dance and a Minor in Business Administration. She has trained extensively in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, African, Hip Hop and Modern dance.
Lillian was born and raised in Vancouver, Washington where she began dancing at age 5 with Carla Kendall-Bray at Dance Fusion Northwest. At 11, she added classical training at Northwest Classical Ballet and subsequently joined their company in 2010 under the Artistic Direction of Maricar Drilon. She trained additionally with Kemba Shannon and Jennifer Hata-Livingston at Kemba Shannon Dance Center in Portland, OR, while attending the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics. As a sophomore, Lillian transferred to Jefferson High School with their renowned dance program under the direction of Steve Gonzalez before receiving both academic and dance scholarships to U of A.
Summer training included multiple turns at Alonzo King Contemporary Ballet Summer Intensive in San Francisco, Sultanov Russian Ballet Academy, Northwest Dance Project and Tremaine Dance Intensives in Los Angeles. From 2011 to 2016 she danced competitively both in the solo and group categories.
At the University of Arizona she trained under Melissa Hancock, Elizabeth George, Michael Williams, Tammy Dyke-Compton, Barbea Williams, Chris Compton, Marquez Johnson and Sam Watson and now Dance Fusion Northwest is overjoyed to welcome Lillian to the staff!
